Jocelyn Filley is a photographer on Martha’s Vineyard who creates candid imagery with an editorial touch. With every assignment Jocelyn is given, be it a wedding, family portrait or cookbook, there is a universal theme of seeking out beauty, joy and light. A practice of gratitude that proves, and reminds us of the good in life.

Jocelyn's family ties to the island date back to the 1940's when her great-grand parents bought a home on Chappy. She was lucky enough to visit every summer growing up and eventually make it her year round home.

While much thought goes into the preparations for each celebration, Jocelyn also makes space to observe the imperfect moments. Those are the ones that often hold the magic and make for the best memories.

She went on to receive a BA in photojournalism from UNC at Chapel Hill with her documentary work resulting in multiple awards. Upon graduating, she followed her love of visual storytelling into weddings.
